CATCHING FLY BALLS ON THE OUTFIELD

Although it seems one of the easiest parts of the game, outfielders spend a lot of time perfecting this area. It is important for the team to ensure that the fly balls become outs, otherwise, they result in more than one base reached for the opposing player.

Points to consider:

- The outfielders must be in a position that allows them to go in any direction when the ball  is hit.
- Knowing the wind direction before the game is extremely important when it comes to fielding fly balls.
- Using the ball of the feet when running makes them have better vision of the ball.
